M Health Fairview is looking for an experienced LPN to provide professional, quality care to patients at M Health Fairview Vascular Clinic located in the Maplewood Specialty Clinic on the St. John's campus. The Maplewood Clinic is a multi-specialty clinic that is dedicated to compassionate care for all ages.
This is a full time (1.0 FTE, 80 hours per two week pay period), benefit eligible position on the day shift. This role will cover the Vascular Clinic's Maplewood, Woodbury, and St. Paul clinic locations.
Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday 8AM to 4PM
Performs delegated independent nursing functions using established procedures, policies, guidelines, and standards as observed by the provider or registered nurse.
Maintains and coordinates communication among patient/significant other, staff, and providers as evidenced within medical record, client, and health care team feedback.
Provides health teaching as delegated by and observed by the RN or provider.
Assists with laboratory, X-ray and EKG, procedures and treatments as directed by provider according to established clinic protocols and OSHA standards.
Provides data collection as requested under the direction of an RN or provider. Accurately documents, Returns phone calls, Refers triage to RN, obtains written provider approval and processes prescription refill requests promptly and accurately.
Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards.
Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements.
Performs other responsibilities as needed/assigned.
Practical Nursing diploma from an accredited school of nursing required;
