NORTON HEART & VASCULAR INSTITUTE, located in Louisville, Kentucky, is seeking a fellowship-trained, board-certified or board-eligible electrophysiologist
to join its expanding program. The ideal candidate will join a comprehensive outpatient Heart Rhythm Center supported by a dedicated team that includes seven board certified electrophysiologists, five advanced practice providers, two nurse navigators and 10 cardiac device specialists. The center offers a dedicated Atrial Fibrillation Clinic and remote device monitoring program, and will be part of a new cardiovascular multidisciplinary clinic space opening in 2024.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

• Ideal candidate will have expertise in advanced catheter ablation techniques for atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia and all aspects of clinical cardiac electrophysiology
• Opportunity to work with a nationally accredited A-fib Center of Excellence in an A-fib clinic model
• Access to state-of-the-art facilities, including four electrophysiology    laboratories with new fluoroscopy equipment, electrophysiology recording systems, 3D mapping equipment, radiofrequency ablation and cryoablation equipment, intracardiac ultrasound and laser lead extraction
• Supported by the Heart Rhythm Center remote monitoring team that provides paperless device follow-up for over 6,000 patients
• Ability to practice inpatient and outpatient care with a work-life balance
• Telecardiology services readily available
• Competitive wRVU compensation model as well as quality bonus

• On-call coverage split equally among the entire group regardless of tenure
