Entry Level Leadership Opportunity for Motivated Cardiologist

Guthrie is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist to lead our team in Cortland, NY

Highlights of the Position

• Provide oversight to Cardiovascular department operations and growth strategies.
• Ensure adequate coverage of inpatient cardiology services at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center
• Actively engage in provision of inpatient and outpatient cardiology services
• Provide clinical oversight of cardiac rehab department
• Actively participate in the functions of the medical staff
• Assist with recruitment and retention of cardiologists and advanced practitioners for the department as needed
• Robust EHR (Epic 10-Star health system top 1% of Epic organizations)

Guthrie offers a full spectrum of outpatient and inpatient cardiac and vascular testing and treatments with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization vascular and endovascular surgery cardiac surgery including TAVR electrophysiology PVI ablations ICD and CRT-D implantation non-invasive testing services cardiac rehabilitation an arrhythmia center with left atrial appendage occlusion (Watchman) and advanced cardiac imaging.

• Traditional Monday through Friday schedule with comfortable general cardiology call
