Weill Cornell Medicine in partnership with NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group/Queens is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Cardiologist to join our division with primary clinical responsibilities in the Department of Pediatrics at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens. This position is based in the heart of Flushing, Queens, conveniently located a half hour away from Manhattan.

The ideal candidate will have excellent skills in performing independent pediatric and fetal echocardiography; specialize in general pediatric cardiology and non-invasive imaging as well as have expertise in transthoracic echocardiography and fetal echocardiography;  have an interest in working in a community medical center; and welcome the opportunity to explore new referral bases within the community.

Highlights include:

• Join a Division of 10 pediatric cardiologists and partner at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens  with a full-time board-certified pediatric cardiologist who has established a thriving outpatient practice, a fetal echocardiography program and an inpatient consultation service in Queens (which includes inpatient coverage for a service with 4600 annual deliveries).
• Responsibilities will also include coverage of the echocardiography laboratory at Queens which performs 2000 echocardiograms annually as well as outpatient services at our newly opened multispecialty site in Fresh Meadows, Queens
• The selected candidate will be an employee of Weill Cornell Medicine and hold an academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College

The Pediatric Cardiac Program at Weill Cornell Medicine is an integral part of New York-Presbyterian (NYP), which is one of the largest pediatric cardiac programs in the country. Our surgeons perform cardiac procedures at Weill Cornell Medical Center as well as Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital - Columbia University Medical Center.
