Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking to employ a Board Certified/Board Eligible Academic Vascular Surgeon to join the growing team at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune City, New Jersey. The vascular surgery program at Hackensack Meridian Health is recognized for its advanced care, offering both open and minimally invasive treatments for a wide range of vascular diseases. The program is also involved in research and clinical trials, providing patients with access to innovative treatments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide and grow general and endo-vascular surgical services.
Engage in research to advance knowledge and improve quality of care.
Supervise and teach surgical residents and medical students.
Collaborate with operating room staff on staffing and equipment needs.
Assist in developing and implementing a Quality Improvement Program for Vascular Surgical Services.
Participate in community education and continuing medical education programs.
Aid in the development of a Center for Minimally Invasive Endo-Vascular Surgery.

REQUIREMENTS:
Board-certified/eligible in Vascular Surgery.
At least 5 years of practice experience.
Expertise in complex aortic surgery is essential.
Must have experience or a strong interest in teaching medical students and residents.
